Anthetic Labs FZE ("we", "our", or "us"), incorporated in the Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone (SPC), United Arab Emirates, is the developer and publisher of NumberTwo ("the App"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the App. Please read them carefully before using NumberTwo.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Anthetic Labs FZE. Your continued use of the App following any updates to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Not Medical Advice

NumberTwo is a personal wellness and tracking tool only. Nothing in the App — including AI-generated insights, Bristol scale classifications, color assessments, symptom logs, health summaries, or any other content — constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any decisions about your health. Do not disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of anything you read, see, or receive in the App. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App (or 16 years of age in certain jurisdictions, including the European Economic Area). By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the App.

4. Account Registration

You may create an account using an email address and password, Apple Sign-In, or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete registration information

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

  • All activity that occurs under your account

If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, notify us immediately at info@antheticlabs.com. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Free Tier

NumberTwo offers a free tier that includes 3 complimentary scans at no charge. Once your free scans are used, continued use of the scanning feature requires an active subscription. Free scan allowances are per account, non-transferable, and cannot be reset.

5.2 Subscription Plans

NumberTwo offers optional auto-renewing subscription plans that unlock premium features including unlimited scans, full history access, and advanced insights. Current pricing is displayed in the App at the time of purchase and may vary by region.

5.3 Billing

All subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Your Apple ID account will be charged upon confirmation of purchase and automatically at the start of each renewal period.

5.4 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings under Subscriptions.

5.5 Free Trials

Where a free trial is offered, it begins on the date you activate it. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription before the trial ends.

5.6 Access After Subscription Lapses

If your subscription expires or is cancelled, you will lose access to premium features, including your scan history and AI-generated insights. Your underlying data is retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and will not be deleted solely due to a subscription lapse. You may regain full access by resubscribing at any time.

5.7 Refunds

All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly.

5.8 Price Changes

We may change subscription pricing at any time. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next renewal period. We will notify you of any price change in advance, and your continued subscription after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or tamper with the App or its underlying systems

  • Upload false, misleading, abusive, or inappropriate content

  • Share your account credentials with or allow access by any third party

  • Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the App

  • Attempt to access, query, or interfere with other users' accounts or data

  • Use the App in any way that could damage, overburden, or impair our infrastructure

We impose the following usage limits to ensure service quality for all users: free accounts are limited to 3 complimentary scans in total; Pro subscribers are limited to 10 scans per day; an additional server-side limit of 15 scans per day applies to all accounts regardless of subscription status. These limits may change at our discretion.

7. User Content and Photos

7.1 Your Content

Any notes, symptom entries, food logs, or other content you submit in the App ("User Content") remain yours. You retain all ownership rights to your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process it solely to provide the App's features to you.

7.2 Stool Photos

Images captured through the App's scanning feature are transmitted securely to our servers for AI analysis only. Stool photos are not stored, retained, or logged anywhere on our infrastructure. They are processed in real time and permanently discarded immediately after analysis is complete. We do not have access to your images after analysis.

7.3 Content Standards

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of any content you submit. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms.

8. AI-Generated Insights

The App uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to analyze data you provide and generate health insights, including Bristol scale classifications, color assessments, anomaly detection, and personalized recommendations.

These insights are generated automatically and may not always be accurate, complete, or applicable to your individual situation. To provide personalized analysis, your health context — including any conditions and medications you have entered — may be included alongside your scan image when sent to our AI provider. AI-generated content is provided for personal tracking and informational purposes only and must not be relied upon as medical advice, clinical assessment, or a substitute for professional healthcare. We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy of AI-generated content.

9. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including but not limited to the name NumberTwo, logo, design, user interface, code, graphics, features, and functionality — is owned by or licensed to Anthetic Labs FZE and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of any part of the App without our prior written permission. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

11. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the App's settings. Upon account deletion:

  • Your personal data will be deleted or anonymized within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations

  • Some data may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form that cannot identify you

  • Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription — you must cancel separately through your Apple ID account settings to avoid future charges.

12. Offline Functionality

NumberTwo supports offline use. Scans and health logs completed without an internet connection are stored temporarily and securely on your device and automatically synced to our servers when connectivity is restored. Pending offline data is held locally on your device until sync is complete, after which it is removed from local storage.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to other users or our systems.

You may stop using the App at any time. Sections 2, 8, 9, 14, 15, and 16 survive any termination of these Terms.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any content or insights provided by the App.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Anthetic Labs FZE, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sharjah, UAE, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you may also have the right to bring a claim before the courts of your country of residence.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the App, our business, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify you via the App or by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.
